Who sells it · The distribution class · Q4 2026 edition
Cruise Distribution Index
Who sells cruise. Eight pillars. Every criterion shows its evidence. Fourteen organizations that hold cruise bookings across four source markets, coded criterion by criterion on a published method.
In brief
- What it grades
- 14 organizations that sell cruise, coded criterion by criterion; median C+.
- How to read it
- Letters are read against full potential, no curve. Under 60% coverage a card is not graded; a provisional grade, marked *, carries its range.
- What to do with it
- Find your card, read the two pillars furthest from full potential, and start with the first assignment. Dispute any criterion with evidence.
To the class
There is no curve here. Every distributor on this card is read against full potential: a partner that brings the line guests it would not otherwise reach and says how many, books clean business that sails, prices honestly, sells the line’s own pre-cruise products, protects the guest’s money, and publishes its outcomes. Against it the median graded distributor reads C+. Most of this class is privately held and discloses little, so read the coverage column before the letter.
Two things this index will not do. It does not score the level of anyone’s resale prices, or their adherence to a supplier’s pricing policy. And it does not mistake a programme for a result: a training academy, a loyalty scheme or an AI tool earns its full points only when there is a number, an observation or a third party behind it.
