If you contact Hawkes & Kwortnik through the site, we use your information for the purpose you selected: replying to an inquiry or sending the H&K publication or CEI release updates you requested. We do not sell contact data, use it for ad targeting, or add inquiry contacts to an automated nurture sequence.

Service providers
Website inquiries and briefing signups are submitted through Netlify Forms so they reach us without a public-facing CRM on the site. The site is served through Netlify and Cloudflare. If we engage in deeper advisory work, any additional tooling or document-sharing approach is scoped directly with the client.
Confidentiality
Initial inbound inquiries are treated as confidential business conversations. If a discussion moves into active advisory work or data review, mutual NDA is standard practice.
Analytics
This site uses Plausible for aggregate page-view and usage reporting and also sends a limited event record to our first-party endpoint at /.netlify/functions/hk-analytics. The first-party record may include the event type, page, content or release version, referral origin, campaign tags, country, and bounded interaction labels. The endpoint rejects form-content fields such as name, email, phone, company, and message text; it does not set a cookie or accept an advertising identifier. Events are written to provider runtime logs only: this site configures no durable analytics database and no fixed analytics retention period. We do not run ad targeting, resell behavioral data, or use these events to build marketing audiences.
